In Discovery, Year 2 student learnt about historical toys and designed a modern version of the spinning top. The applied scientific knowledge of forces to make the toy move. The final stage was testing and making the adjustments to their spinning top to encourage their tops to spin longer.
They had a wonderful time testing their designs and were then able to digitally record the observable changes.
